The S4MILE project took part in the Battery Innovation Days (BID) 2025, held on 2–3 December in Graz, Austria, as well as online. This annual event gathers leading stakeholders from the European battery ecosystem, including policymakers, researchers, and industry representatives, to discuss the future of battery technologies and sustainable mobility.
As a member of Collabat – the Cluster of H2020 Battery Projects, S4MILE was showcased alongside several innovative EU-funded initiatives such as iBattMan, InnoBMS, HELIOS and ARISE. Together, the projects highlighted their contribution to next-generation battery systems, advanced battery management, lightweight materials, and sustainable practices for recycling and second-life applications.
Workshop Participation: Battery Cluster Impact and Sustainability
On the day prior to the exhibition, S4MILE also participated in the “Battery Cluster Impact and Sustainability” Workshop, a dedicated session focused on knowledge sharing, long-term sustainability strategies, and opportunities for future collaboration within the cluster. This workshop strengthened synergies between the participating projects and reinforced a shared commitment to a greener, more efficient battery value chain.
Presence at the Collabat Exhibition Booth
Throughout the Battery Innovation Days, S4MILE was present at the Collabat Cluster booth, where partners had the opportunity to present the project’s objectives and ongoing developments to visitors. Participants onsite and online were invited to learn more about S4MILE’s contributions to the future of electromobility and solid-state battery innovation.
